The Department of Copyright and Related Rights brings together theorists and practitioners who carry out scientific research and implement their results. 

The department's work is aimed at solving the following main tasks: 

• harmonization of the current legislation of Ukraine with the European legislation in the context of improving the legal regulation of copyright and related rights; 
• the spread of learning about copyright and related rights in order to increase the level of legal understanding in these areas;
• practical assistance to authors and other persons whose activities are related to the creation and use of works and objects of related rights.
