Оlena Orlyuk participated in the meeting of the International Expert Council (representatives of Great Britain, Germany, France and Ukraine), the purpose of which was to discuss issues of promoting the creation and effective work of the IP сourt in Ukraine.
The meeting was held in London as part of a joint project with the Center for Commercial Law Research (CCLS) at Queen Mary University. The parties made suggestions on the training program for Ukrainian judges created by the IP court and the development of recommendations for the establishment and operation of the IP court.
The Ukrainian CCLS IP Court Project was launched in March 2018. It is part of a large-scale program of the UK Government to conduct judicial reform in Ukraine. Within the framework of cooperation with the Center for Commercial Law Research (CCLS) at Queen Mary University in London, technical and advisory assistance will be provided to support the creation and operation of the High Court of Intellectual Property in Ukraine over the next two years.
The affiliate program will support communication with British government and judicial agencies, lawyers and business associations, scientists and other users of the intellectual property protection system to exchange experiences in the functioning of the IP court.
Several meetings have already been held in London, in particular with representatives of the British-Ukrainian Bar Association at the Bridger Collier Law Firm with partners from leading legal campaigns, judges and IP specialists.

Matters of the IP court were discussed with Natalia Halibarenko, a member of the British Parliament, Head of the Joint Parliamentary Group on Ukrainian Issues, House of Commons, John Whittidale, in the presence of Mrs. Ambassador of Ukraine to the UK.
